Sad Day For Our Assyrian Nation and Church

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you our beloved Patriarch of Assyrian Church of the East, His Holiness Mar Dinkha  IV passed away this morning, March 26, 2015 at 10:04 a.m. at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota).  His Holiness had dedicated his entire life, to serving our Lord and our Holy Church.  All his life he worked hard to be a spiritual father to us all.  Heaven has welcomed him today and may he rest in peace.  Sad day for our Assyrian nation and church.
